Spoon Studio

A studio, not a factory

Spoon Studio is small on purpose. A few senior people who take on a handful of projects at a time, and finish each one properly.

Why Spoon

The plainest tool for serving well

A spoon is the simplest thing in the kitchen. It doesn't impress anyone on its own; it is judged by what it serves and how well. That is the standard we want to be held to.

It is also a measure. Software should come in portions that match the appetite: the right size, no waste, nothing left cold on the plate because the scope grew past what anyone needed.

Who we are

Two engineers, one studio

Spoon Studio was founded in 2026 in the Philippines by two engineers who have been shipping and running production systems since the early 2010s — for retail, healthcare, property and logistics clients, on platforms that are still in daily use.

The studio is new. The habits behind it are not: written scope, weekly releases, infrastructure in the client's name, and a hand-over any competent team could pick up.

How we work

Measured, weekly, in the open

Weekly releases
Something you can open in a browser every week, from the first week. Scope is written down before we start, and you steer as it takes shape.
One team, design to ops
The people who design the screens write the code and run the servers. Nothing is lost in a hand-off because there is no hand-off.
Agentic tooling
We build with agentic development tools, and we are open about it. It is why a small team ships at this pace and why our margins hold — it is not a reason to expect a cheaper invoice.
You own everything
Cloud accounts, domains and repositories are in your name from day one. We operate them; we never hold them.

What we don't do

Two things we say no to

We don't staff-augment
We don't place engineers on your payroll or bill by the seat. We take on outcomes and deliver them as a team.
We don't bid on fixed scope blind
Every fixed-price project starts with a paid discovery week. It is how the number we quote ends up being the number you pay.
